I hope I finish "hope." I hope I finish my portfolio....I hope a lot of things. I really want to get that song finished though. I just got through transposing all the original cello parts last night at around midnight. Thank god that's over, my hands were killing me. Now all I have to do was create an actual violin part...It wouldn't be right to have us playing entirely cello stuff, now would it? The people in my group say that they like the song, I'm not really sure if they really do. Most of them only gave it a lukewarm reception....Hmph. Well, hopefully they'll get more enthusiastic....hopefully they'll agree to play something with me for the talent show, though I don't think they'd like the idea of dressing up (I don't think they'd like dressing up as Goths, but it's such a dark piece. Goth outfits would be perfect!) I'm really liking this songwriter business, I think I'll do more of it, as soon as I can think up a good melody line. Those are always the hardest, I've found. That's what's killing me right now on "Hope," I need a good violin melody. Argh!
I found something that annoys me in particular. Why can't people notice what's in front of their eyes. I really enjoyed all that extra attention I got on Halloween when I dressed up as a Goth, but now people are back to not noticing me. Do I have to wear really really form fitting clothing and lots of makeup for people to notice what I look like?
