Endless Chatter

After four weeks of being home, my mother's endless talking is REALLY getting on my nerves. Not that it never did before. If I'm sitting in the living room, CLEARLY reading a book, she'll still keep talking the whole time. And it's not anything new or important she talks about. She's told me about some lady whose husband wanted a divorce about five times already, and every time I remind her she's already told me, she says, "O, I thought I only told your father."
Today I thought I'd try something different. Hide upstairs in my room to read. Mom FOLLOWS me upstairs and starts talking about more useless things. I really need some earplugs or something...
