In the spirit of the holiday season, all of Santa's little elves are working extra hard. Past their bedtimes in fact. Into the witching hour, in fact. I happen to be on of Santa's little elves this year, a cooking elf in fact. Yes, I know, I've been demoted from the position of head elf that I had in the first grade. I'm a much more useful elf now though, as I used to be an ice cream elf, and while ice cream is most tasty, it's not really in demand during the holiday season.
In any case, to help you all understand the wierdness I just spouted, I've been working in the wonderful world of William Sonoma since 6 pm today, and I just got out of work not even 20 minutes ago. My poor tail bone was only slightly annoying to me today - basically it kills me to sit down, but I find that if I shift my weight to one side, I'm fine. It seems to be getting better, thank goodness. I also realized that a day working in Williams Sonoma without horrid Marsha is a wonderful working day. I helped lots and lots of people, sold a nice fellow a Cuisinart 12 cup coffee maker along with an extra thermal carafe. I sold a lady 10 brushes, 6 mugs and a tin of peppermint hot cocoa. All in all things were good, even if we got out of work quite a bit later than we were supposed to. Daddy was most unhappy, but I think he forgives me, as long as I don't make a habit of it. Being that I will only be working for three more days, I don't think there will be too much of a problem.
Saddest part of my day is that I went online after pouring myself a glass of juice only to find out I missed my Benny-bean by two minutes. *Snuffle....:(
